good luck

I met The Book of Answers again today.

Though the idea of the book is somehow ridiculous, I could not stop myself from asking a question.
So here is how the book answered my question,

"It will bring good luck"

The answer came from a random book took me into a deep thinking. I kept questioning myself, whether I have been appreciating things I have in life, or maybe not.

Luck, is something my mind can never understand. It is unseen and unpredictable, I mean, who would have known that some thing can bring the luck to you?

I know it seems too complicated, so to make it simple, let's just refer the 'it' to a person. Here goes the story,

Every once in a while, someone walks into your life. Of course you have the right to decide whether you should let this person stays or not. I've never, for once, thought about the luck someone can bring into my life. I mean, what kind of luck? How much of it? and why should you stay with someone just because he/she is your lucky charm?

I met this guy and I guessed now I understand the concept of 'luck' very well. He says no every time I say yes, and it amuses me a lot. He can express what is going on with his heart and mind without withdrawal, and I found it cute. He's so passionate about everything he does, and the way he expresses his excitement on everything is just so adorable. We are thankful for each other's presence,  because by being together, we find our sanity. Being weird together creates a comfortable situation between us. We may have different opinion about everything, but those differences develop an understanding, and from that, growth. 

Staying with him gives me an explanation about the luck the book said before.

The luck means being comfortable with yourself, you allow yourself to grow, you willingly share your thought and opinion in the way you want because you understand that this person will listen to you and that your opinion matters to him. You are the captain of your own ship, so do not let anyone take the wheel, but to navigate the ship in the right direction, you should pay attention to your surroundings and keep someone you can trust so close that he can guide you. 

Being with him bring good luck, 

.. and the fact that he is also a part of the luck itself, I just can not deny it :)


Once again, that ridiculous book, proves himself right.
